What risk do I need to consider when investing in PayGreen?Investing in shares of a single company is risky. In the worst case, you can lose all the capital you invested in PayGreen. Do not invest money in this crowdfunding that you cannot afford to lose.

What documents do I need to look at?This landing page is a good starting point. For more information about this crowdfunding and PayGreen, please request our brochure. On daura.ch you can also find the participation agreement, which you have to read carefully and accept digitally before sending the investment application.

Was wurde bereits investiert?Im ersten Crowdinvestment 2023 investierten bereits 63 Investoren insgesamt über CHF 170'000 zu einem Aktienpreis von CHF 10.50 in die Weiterentwicklung von PayGreen. Daneben erhielt PayGreen weitere benötigten finanziellen Mittel über einen Business Angel und die Gründer. Auch in den Vorjahren konnte die Finanzierung über die Gründer sowie einen weiteren Business Angel sichergestellt werden.

Who can invest?All users registered on "daura.ch" (platform for digital business participation) can participate in PayGreen's capital increase and invest in shares. For regulatory reasons, investors from certain countries are currently excluded.

What are the opportunities for me if I invest in PayGreen?As a PayGreen shareholder, you become a holder of securities and receive a partial right to the profits distributed by PayGreen, to the proceeds in the event of a sale or IPO of PayGreen, and depending on the amount of your investment, you may exercise your voting rights.

How do I invest in PayGreen?First of all, we recommend you to request the PayGreen Crowdinvestment brochure with all documents in order to be well informed about our capital increase. Afterwards, in order to effectively subscribe shares, you need an account on the platform for corporate investment "daura.ch". The share subscription as well as further information can be found directly on daura.ch.

How much time do I have to invest in PayGreen?The technical activation of the payment method can be done independently or with one of our employees. In both cases it should not take much time, it is a simple plugin. The creation of the CO2 balance needs some information from your company. Here you need to include about two hours to prepare the information.

How much does PayGreen cost me?The CO2 analysis and the activation of the payment method are free of charge. PayGreen you pay the standard market transaction fees, which are incurred for every order with PayGreen - instead of another payment solution. The bottom line is that PayGreen should not cost you more. In fact, if you are/will be more carbon neutral, you should benefit from lower transaction fees with PayGreen and save money. Don't know if you're more carbon neutral or not yet? Don't worry. PayGreen offers you a market standard initial fee as a cost cap for at least one year. During this time, you have the option of improving your carbon footprint or taking PayGreen off your online store after one year.

Can PayGreen also activate other payment methods?PayGreen only offers its own payment methods, which can be activated in addition to the existing payment methods. PayGreen does not offer credit cards, Twint or other payment methods.

What is the goal of PayGreen?PayGreen intends to reduce CO2 emissions together with online stores and save 1 million tons of CO2 by 2028. At the same time, PayGreen wants to make it clear to consumers in online stores that if an online store does not offer PayGreen, one possible reason could be the high transaction fees due to the poor carbon footprint of the online store. Ecological online stores can save a lot of money with PayGreen and accept PayGreen safely accordingly.

What advantages do I have if I activate PayGreen as a payment method in my online shop?PayGreen and its sustainability experts provide an annual CO2 analysis of your company and your products/services free of charge. With this, you know your CO2 footprint and get tips on how you can easily reduce it. In addition, you can also save money in the form of lower transaction fees and receive a label from PayGreen without the risk of greenwashing if you become more climate neutral. This way you can attract new customers. PayGreen also publishes your successes in the fight against climate change on request.

Which online shops already offer PayGreen?Currently, online shops are constantly adding us as a payment method and having their carbon footprint determined by PayGreen. The progress in reduction with the online shops is continually published on our social media channels. A list of participating online shops with PayGreen can be found in the "Where to Buy" section.

What eCommerce platforms is the payment method compatible with?Currently, our payment solutions can be easily integrated with WooCommerce and Shopify through a plugin. PayGreen can also be integrated with other platforms through the PSP or shop system. Let us know which platform you are using and we will find a good solution.

Which payment methods does PayGreen already offer?PayGreen currently offers e-invoicing solutions (prepayment or buy-now-pay-later) that can be conveniently paid using e-banking by scanning the generated QR code. It is planned that PayGreen will also offer its own credit card solution and instant payment solution in the near future. They are currently in development.

Does PayGreen have a compensation function for customers?PayGreen focuses its climate efforts with online shops clearly on the reduction of CO2 (insetting) rather than compensation (offsetting). At the moment, PayGreen does not yet offer a function for consumers to compensate for their CO2 emissions from their purchases. PayGreen wants to increasingly transfer the responsibility for CO2 emissions to producers rather than consumers.

How does the "Purchase on account" function work?You will receive an invoice from PayGreen if you have made a purchase in an online store that is connected to PayGreen. You then pay your invoice to PayGreen as well.

Where can I find the bank details?You will find the bank details with the corresponding reference number on the payment slip of your invoice. If you cannot find your payment slip, please contact us at contact@paygreen.ch.

How old do I have to be to use the payment method "purchase on account"?Purchasing by "purchase on account" is possible from the age of 18.

The "Purchase on account" function does not workCouldn't buy on account? This can be due to several reasons. You may have recently moved, and the address you provided can no longer be found. It is also possible that you are not yet of age or do not live in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. For a creditworthiness and identity check, different information is basically used. In addition to the residential address and age, the economic and personal circumstances are also checked. You can find more details in our privacy policy. How do I go about getting a copy of the invoice?Have you misplaced or not received your invoice? We will gladly send you a copy of the invoice by e-mail. Please contact us by e-mail at: contact@paygreen.ch.

Until when do I have to pay the bill?Each invoice shows the total amount outstanding and the due date. We ask that you pay the outstanding invoice amount by the due date indicated. We will charge reminder fees for payments received after the due date.

Can I pay my invoice by post?Payment of the invoice at the post office counter is not possible.

I have not received an invoiceIf you have already received your order but the invoice is still pending, we recommend the following procedure: Check if the invoice has accidentally landed in your spam folder. If you have been waiting for your invoice for more than a day, please contact us by email at contact@paygreen.ch.

What do I do if the order value has changed?In case of changes to your order, such as the return of goods, the store will notify us. In this case you will automatically receive a new invoice.

I have received an invoice, but the product has not yet arrived.Although the invoice is sent together with the order, it may take a few days for your order to arrive. Please contact the store to find out why the ordered goods have not been delivered yet. Please note that the due date indicated on the invoice must be met in any case. Payments received after the due date will be subject to reminder fees.

What does VESR mean?The abbreviation VESR stands for "Procedure inpayment slip with reference number". VESR can only be used with QR deposit slips. VESR enables extensive automation and allocation of payments. Entering the VESR reference number ensures that your payment can be correctly assigned and posted.

Why did I receive an invoice from PayGreen?PayGreen processes payments for online stores. If you have chosen "PayGreen purchase on account" when ordering, you will receive an invoice from us. The invoice will be sent together with your order. Please pay with the payment slip that contains the reference number.

I’m not happy with my orderIn case of complaints or problems with the ordered goods, please contact the store where you ordered the goods.

When will I receive my order?If you have any questions about your order, please contact the store where you ordered the goods directly. PayGreen is only responsible for invoicing and does not have any information regarding your order. After successful return you will receive a corrected invoice from us.

When do reminder fees start to accrue?The payment deadline is indicated on each invoice and the enclosed payment slips. If payment is not made on time, a reminder fee will be due.

I have received a payment reminder, but I do not remember for which order.To receive a copy of the invoice with the details of your order, please contact us at contact@paygreen.ch.

Why do I receive a reminder?The payment term for the invoice is 10 days. You are therefore obliged to pay the invoice within 10 days. If you do not meet your payment obligation, you will first receive a free payment reminder with a grace period of 30 days. After the grace period has expired, you will receive a reminder with costs. The amount of the reminder fees can be found in our General Terms and Conditions.

What is the difference between a payment reminder and a reminder?It can happen that invoices end up in the spam folder or payment deadlines are forgotten. To avoid reminder fees in such cases, we send payment reminders free of charge. After the payment deadline has passed and the payment reminders have been sent, reminders will be sent. These reminders are subject to a fee.

I have received a reminder even though I have already paid the invoice.If you have received a reminder even though the payment has been debited from your account, this may be due to the following reasons: The payment has crossed with the reminder. If you have already paid the invoice, please contact us by email at contact@paygreen.ch. You have entered an incorrect reference number. If you made a mistake when entering the payment details, please contact us also by e-mail at contact@paygreen.ch. You have paid the wrong amount by mistake. The reminder letter shows the difference between the invoice amount and the amount actually paid in. In this case, please transfer the remaining amount. You have used the bank details from the webshop. Please inform the webshop to forward the payment to PayGreen so that we can close the case with us and you will not receive another reminder. How does the credit check work?The creditworthiness and identity check is carried out after completion of your order in the online store. In particular, we rely on your information and also take into account information from third parties. The details are listed in our privacy policy.

What is a credit check?The creditworthiness and identity check is a comparison of the data provided by you in the ordering process with the information from a credit report.

When will I receive a refund?As soon as we receive the credit confirmation from the store and have the complete bank details from you, we will arrange the refund. You can send us your bank details by email to contact@paygreen.ch.

What does PayGreen do with my money?PayGreen already has customers, i.e. online stores that use our payment system, and receives a large number of new inquiries. Now we want and need to expand the payment system as well as our eco-balancing offering so that we can grow in the Swiss market and tackle the market entry in Germany. To do this, we need financial resources.
